Faith Mason is the art teacher at Ponchatoula Junior High, it a job she loves in giving her students an outlet to express themselves at a stage of their lives when doing so verbally or in writing is often difficult. Her childhood belief in the magic of Christmas wishes - a wish box which is annually placed next to the decorated Christmas tree in the middle of town - has to resurface when she learns on the last day before Christmas break that arts funding has been totally cut meaning her job....
